The Communications Department of Accra Hearts of Oak SC has announced the opening of media accreditation for journalists and photographers who wish to cover the much-anticipated Ghana Premier League encounter between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, scheduled for Sunday, 9th November 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to the Club, all interested media practitioners are required to submit their accreditation requests via email to communications@heartsofoaksc.com. Applications must be officially signed by a Manager or Editor and accompanied by a passport-sized photograph of the applicant.
Submission Deadline

The deadline for submission is 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 6th November 2025. The Club emphasized that late submissions will not be accepted, and any applications received without a passport photograph will not be processed.
Collection of Accreditation Tags
- For Accra-based media: Tags will be available for collection on Friday, 7th November 2025, at the Club’s Commercial Centre.
- For media outside Accra: Collection will take place on Saturday, 8th November 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the same venue, and on Sunday, 9th November 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Independence Square.
Applicants are reminded to present a valid ID card when collecting their accreditation tags.
Access Zones
For pitch-side access (Zone 1), only accredited photographers from the following outlets will be permitted:
- Ghana News Agency (GNA)
- Ghana Football Association (GFA)
- Ghanaian Times
- Daily Graphic
- National Sports Authority (NSA)
- Africa Premier League (APL)
- Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko Media
- Plus ten (10) other freelance photographers
Limited Space Available
Due to space limitations at the Accra Sports Stadium, only 200 journalists will be accredited for this high-profile fixture. Accreditation will be granted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, and the list of successful applicants will be published on the official Hearts of Oak website on Friday, 7th November 2025.
The upcoming Hearts-Kotoko clash is expected to draw massive attention from fans and the media, with the two traditional rivals battling for early-season bragging rights in the Ghana Premier League.
