Asante Kotoko part ways with three players by mutual consent

Asante Kotoko have confirmed the departure of three players—Fernando Wisdom Bassey, Sampson Eduku, and Daniel Adrian Adjetey following the mutual termination of their contracts.

The Kumasi-based club announced the exits in an official statement, wishing the trio well in their future endeavors.

“We can confirm the departure of Fernando Wisdom Bassey, Sampson Eduku and Daniel Adrian Adjetey from the club by mutual termination,” the statement read. “We wish them the best for the future.”

The decision to part ways is believed to be part of the club’s ongoing restructuring efforts ahead of the new season. While the players were not at the core of the team’s regular starting lineup, their professionalism and commitment during their time at the club have been acknowledged by fans and management alike.

All three players are now free agents and will be looking to explore new opportunities as they continue their football careers elsewhere.

Their departures add to the list of off-season changes at Asante Kotoko, as the club looks to rebuild and challenge strongly in the upcoming campaign.

Asante Kotoko fans will no doubt be watching closely to see what reinforcements arrive to bolster the squad following these departures.
