ARMADILLO GLOWS IN INDIAN COLOURS AS GLASGOW CELEBRATES AMDAVAD 2030

To mark the announcement that Amdavad will host the 2030 Centenary Commonwealth Games, the SEC Armadillo, an icon of the Glasgow Clydebank and Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games venue, was lit up in the Indian flag. The Clyde Arc was also illuminated in gold to commemorate Glasgow handing the baton to Amdavad, India for the Centenary Games.

Scotland’s leading Commonwealth Games medallist, Duncan Scott OBE, and India’s Commonwealth boxing medallist, Jaismine Lamboria, were captured as part of celebrations.
