Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has paid a compassionate visit to victims of the recent stampede who are currently receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital.
She was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Defence, Hon. Brogya Gyemfi, and the Chief of Defence Staff, Major General William Agyapong. The Vice President and her team spent time with each patient, offering words of encouragement and assuring them of the government’s full support throughout their recovery process.
Vice President Opoku-Agyemang commended the doctors, nurses, and medical staff for their swift intervention and unwavering dedication. She noted that their professionalism and timely response were crucial in stabilizing the situation and ensuring that the injured received the urgent care they needed.

“We are keeping all affected individuals and their families in our thoughts and prayers,” she said, emphasizing the government’s commitment to standing with the victims during this difficult period.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation as investigations into the cause of the stampede proceed.
