Ghana and UK Deepen Strategic Partnership with Trade, Investment, and Security Talks
Ghana and the United Kingdom are set to strengthen their historical and inseparable ties following a high-level meeting between Ghana’s Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and The Rt Hon Yvette Cooper (MP), UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs.
The engagement, described by officials as “exceptionally fruitful and substantive,” focused on deepening Ghana-UK relations and exploring innovative strategies to expand trade, which has already increased by 10%. Both sides discussed creating new markets for Ghanaian and UK businesses and incubating opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
