Manhyia Palace Issues Safety Directives Ahead of Asantehemaa’s Final Funeral Rites

The Manhyia Palace has released a public announcement reminding chiefs, traditional leaders, and members of the public attending the final burial rites (Dote Yie) of the late Nana Konadu Yiadom III, Asantehemaa (1927–2025), to strictly comply with safety regulations put in place for the ceremony scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025. According to the announcement, the use of live ammunition has been strictly prohibited during the event. KNUST to Suspend Academic and Commercial Activities on September 18 in Honour of Late Asantehemaa

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has announced that it will suspend work and all commercial activities on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in compliance with a directive from the Manhyia Palace. ARCC Issues Directives for Funeral of Late Asantehemaa
