The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigations into a viral video circulating on social media, which shows a group of men physically assaulting a young man accused of stealing equipment.
In a statement released by the Police, authorities condemned the act and assured the public that efforts are underway to identify and arrest all individuals involved in the assault.
The Police are appealing to the public for assistance, urging anyone with credible information regarding the incident or the individuals captured in the video to report to the nearest police station to support ongoing investigations.
The Ghana Police Service reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring justice and maintaining law and order, promising that the perpetrators will be brought to book.
