The Office of the Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has announced the disbursement of GHS 134,000 to the latest cohort of beneficiaries under the Oppong Nkrumah Scholarship and Bursaries Program.
A total of 22 students from 16 tertiary institutions across the country received financial support in this 9th batch of the initiative, which was established in 2017 to promote access to higher education for brilliant but needy students within the constituency.
The beneficiaries are pursuing diverse academic programs, including Medicine, Marketing, Law, Public Health, Midwifery, Business Administration, Education, and Secretaryship. The MP’s office extended special commendation to the five students currently studying Medicine and Physician Assistantship, urging them to remain focused and committed to excellence in their academic pursuits.

Since its inception, the Oppong Nkrumah Scholarship and Bursaries Program has supported over 700 students, providing them with financial assistance to pursue tertiary education and acquire skills needed to contribute meaningfully to national development.
The MP’s office expressed appreciation to individuals and institutions that continue to partner and support the initiative, emphasizing that education remains a key pillar in the constituency’s human capital development agenda.
