President John Dramani Mahama on Monday joined the National Chief Imam, Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, and hundreds of Muslims at Black Star Square for Eid ul-Fitr prayers, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Addressing the gathering, President Mahama emphasized that Eid ul-Fitr is not only a time for celebration but also a moment for reflection and renewed commitment to the values of discipline, sacrifice, and compassion cultivated during Ramadan. He urged Ghanaians to uphold these principles in their daily lives to promote unity, tolerance, and mutual respect across the country.

The President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive national development, stressing that government policies are geared toward ensuring that progress benefits all citizens, regardless of location or background.
