Ghanaian Afrobeats and dancehall artiste Kelvyn Boy has shared a heartfelt testimony after surviving what could have been one of the most tragic moments of the year for him and his fans.
According to the singer, the incident occurred a few days ago at the back of Center Point Mall, where a driver reversing a vehicle lost control and headed directly toward him while he was on the sidewalk. Kelvyn Boy revealed that he narrowly escaped death thanks to the quick reaction of two members of his team, who spotted the danger in time and pulled him out of harm’s way.
Although his life was spared, the accident was not without consequences. The musician sustained a fractured ankle and is currently undergoing recovery. In a message filled with gratitude and faith, Kelvyn Boy thanked God for preserving his life, emphasizing that he remains thankful despite the injury.

“Give thanks for life still,” he expressed, underscoring how close the situation came to ending tragically.
As a result of the injury, Kelvyn Boy has missed several scheduled performances. He issued a sincere apology to promoters whose shows he could not attend and extended his regrets to fans who were looking forward to seeing him perform. He has encouraged promoters to coordinate with his management to reschedule affected shows.
Despite the setback, the artist remains determined. Addressing upcoming shows before the end of the year, Kelvyn Boy assured fans that he is racing against time to recover and will honor his commitments—even if it means performing with crutches.
“Nothing’s gon stop us now,” he declared, reinforcing his resilience and dedication to his craft.
