32 Nigerians Arrested in Kasoa Over Alleged Romance Scam Syndicate
A major breakthrough has been recorded in Ghana’s fight against cybercrime following the arrest of 32 Nigerian nationals suspected to be operating a large-scale romance scam syndicate at Kasoa Tuba in the Central Region.
The arrest was carried out in the early hours of the morning through a joint operation between the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) and National Security.
Confirming the development, the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation and Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George, commended the Cyber Security Authority for what he described as another decisive blow against cybercriminal activities in the country.
