Beyond Kontrol (BYK), the independent music label managing award-winning Ghanaian artiste Medikal, has officially unveiled a new Public Relations (PR) Team to steer the brand’s communications.
The newly-appointed PR Team features respected media and communications professional Mr. Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh (NYB) as PR Manager, Mr. Pep Junia as Artiste Liaison, and Ms. Nana Yaa Tanoah Boakye as PR Assistant.
According to BYK, the team brings a strong blend of academic knowledge and industry experience to drive the label’s PR strategy.
- Mr. Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh holds a Master’s Degree in Brands & Communication Management.
- Pep Junia is also a Master’s Degree holder in Communication & International Marketing.
- Ms. Nana Yaa Tanoah Boakye holds a Degree in Communication Studies.
BYK expressed excitement about strengthening its brand communication, stating that the new team will help foster deeper engagement with fans, build strong corporate relationships, and enhance collaboration within the creative arts industry.

Beyond Kontrol Concert Set for December
In addition to the team announcement, BYK also confirmed plans for the ‘Beyond Kontrol Concert’, a major live music event scheduled for December 13, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The concert, organised in partnership with key industry collaborators, is expected to be one of the biggest music gatherings of the year, further solidifying Medikal’s influence in Ghanaian music and youth culture.
With a renewed PR structure and a major stadium event on the calendar, Beyond Kontrol appears poised to expand its footprint locally and internationally as it builds the next chapter for Medikal’s brand.
