Vice President of Ghana, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has expressed profound gratitude after being enstooled twice in a single day during traditional celebrations in the Volta Region.
The Vice President received the rare honour during two major cultural festivals, underscoring her growing symbolic recognition within traditional leadership circles and highlighting the enduring relevance of Ghana’s cultural heritage.
She was first enstooled as Mama Adjagba I of Kedzi during the 2026 Norvikporgbe Za Festival. Later in the day, she was again honoured as Mama Tortsogbe I of Sokpoe at the 40th edition of the Tortsogbeza Festival.
