Media Accreditation for Glasgow 2026 Opens Monday 26 January

We're pleased to confirm that media accreditation for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will officially open at 09:00 (GMT) on Monday 26 January. Accredited media will have access to competition venues, training venues, Games Media Hub, media conferences and other key operational facilities throughout the Games. We encourage all journalists, photographers and non-rights holding broadcast intending to cover Glasgow 2026 to begin the application process as early as possible. Glasgow 2026 Announces Board of Directors

The Glasgow 2026 Organising Company has today announced the appointment of the Board of Directors who will join Chair George Black CBE in leading the delivery of the 23rd Commonwealth Games. Glasgow 2026 will take place from Thursday 23 July to Sunday 2 August 2026 and feature a 10-sport programme concentrated across four venues within an eight-mile corridor of the city.  The Games are being delivered by the Glasgow 2026 Organising Company in partnership with the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) and Commonwealth Games Scotland (CGS).
