National Election Security Taskforce Engages NPP Ahead of Presidential Primaries
The National Election Security Taskforce has met with the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Election Committee as part of preparations toward the party’s presidential primaries scheduled for 31st January 2026.
The meeting was held to enable the Taskforce receive official notification of the elections and gather critical information, including the election timetable, venues, and the scope of related activities. These details, officials said, are necessary to facilitate comprehensive security planning and coordination.
