Police Arrest Three Suspects for Impersonation and Online Fraud
The Ghana Police Service has arrested three individuals for allegedly impersonating public officials and engaging in a range of online fraud activities targeting unsuspecting members of the public.
The arrests followed a sustained, intelligence-led operation conducted by the Police Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team across several communities in the Volta Region, including Sogakope, Dabala, Dzodze, and Penyi.
The suspects have been identified as Gideon Awudi, 25; Edem Soku, 33; and Judith Soku, 31.
