The incident occurred on July 10, 2025, at Sangbana, a village near Bunkpurugu. The Accra Regional Police Command has confirmed the arrest of one suspect in connection with the brutal murder of Stephen King Amoah, an Immigration Officer who was reported missing on July 4, 2025. According to a police statement signed by Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs for the Accra Region, the officer’s burnt body was discovered on the morning of July 9 in a gutter near the GBC Satellite, opposite Comet Estate, Accra.
