Kpando Gadza Women Association inaugurated to equip members with economic skills
A voluntary group, Kpando GadzaWomen Association, has been inaugurated in Kpando in the Volta Region to equip members with skills to improve their standards of living.
The Association with a current membership of 86 had already began producing ointments, shower gel, liquid soaps and hair balms which are awaiting registration with the Ghana Standards Authority.
Mama Kodzogasi II, Queen of Kpando Gadza and Founder of the Association, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA),disclosed that the Association was formed to help members gain skills and employment to better their lives.
She said it was the hope that the output and products of the Association would attract more members despite the small population of the town.
