Ghana Condemns Israeli Airstrike on Qatar, Expresses Solidarity

The Government of Ghana has strongly condemned what it described as an “unprovoked” Israeli attack on the sovereign State of Qatar, which has resulted in casualties, loss of lives, and destruction of property. In a statement issued in Accra on Wednesday, the Government said the airstrikes were a violation of international law and an affront to the sovereignty of Qatar. It further warned that the attack undermines ongoing efforts toward peace between Israel and Palestine.
