Western Region GNFS holds mid-year religious Thanksgiving Service

The Western Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has organised a mid-year religious Thanksgiving Service at the forecourt of its Headquarters at Fijai in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis. The event was also characterised by a send-off ceremony for some retired officers, and the installation of a new Chaplain for the Command. C/R: Five Injured in Near-Fatal Crash at Ekumfi Essakyir

A serious road accident occurred on the Mankessim–Apam highway at Ekumfi Essakyir, involving a DAF Articulator Truck (registration number AS 3215-25) and a Hyundai Starex minivan (registration number AKN 620XA). The collision left five individuals trapped inside the Hyundai Starex, all of whom were successfully rescued and rushed to nearby hospitals for emergency medical care. GNFS Rescues Trapped Driver After Accident at Bethel Junction

A driver was rescued from his mangled vehicle after a serious accident at Bethel Junction near New Abirem on Sunday evening. At 1836 hours, the New Abirem Municipal Fire Station received a distress call about the incident. A team of firefighters was immediately dispatched to the scene, where they found a heavily damaged vehicle with the driver trapped inside. GNFS, North Dakota National Guard train personnel to manage harzadous materials
