PRINPAG Condemns Environmental Devastation Caused by Galamsey Activities

The Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) strongly denounces the rampant destruction of Ghana's environment, water bodies, and forest cover due to illegal mining (galamsey) activities. We consider this devastation a grave threat to the well-being of Ghanaians and the country's future.This is contained in a statement issued by PRINPAG and signed by Mr. Andrew Edwi Arthur, the president of the association in Accra yesterday, 10th September, 2024.
