Kasoa Peace Town Residents Demand Increased Police Patrols Amid Rising Daytime Burglaries
Residents of Peace Town, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality, are calling on the Ghana Police Service and municipal authorities to increase police patrols in the area following a rise in daytime home burglaries and stealing incidents.
According to residents, most of the criminal activities take place during working hours, particularly between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., when many homeowners have left for work, leaving their houses vulnerable.
Speaking to this reporter, Madam Comfort Mensah, a resident of Peace Town for the past six years, said the situation has become worrying.
