Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed profound sorrow over the death of the Asante Mamponghene, Daasebre Nana Osei Bonsu II, describing the news as “devastating.”
In a heartfelt statement issued following the announcement, Dr. Bawumia said the late traditional ruler held a special place in his life and that of his wife, Samira Bawumia.
“Today is a very sad day for me.
