GES Releases 2025 School Placement Results

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the release of the 2025 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results. This was contained in a statement signed by Dr. Munawaru Issahaque, Acting Deputy Director-General (Q & A), on behalf of the Acting Director-General of GES. According to the directive, all Regional Directors of Education are to promptly communicate the development to District Directors of Education and Heads of schools within their jurisdiction. BECE begins peacefully at Abavana Cluster of Schools  

This year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) began smoothly at the Abavana Cluster of Schools, with no reported incidents.   Mr Kwasi Botwey, Supervisor at Abavana Compound "A", told the GNA that all arrangements had been completed ahead of the examination.   He said the exam commenced at 0917 hours due to the late arrival of examination materials.   Mr Botwey stated that measures were put in place to ensure a smooth process devoid of disturbances.   "Before the exams, we cautioned them to be of good behaviour by avoiding examination malpractice and encouraged them to learn and pass well," he said.   He indicated that three schools were presenting candidates at the centre: Abavana Junior High School with 49 candidates, Kotobabi '4'...

Over 3,000 candidates to write 2025 BECE in Tema Metro

A total of 3,820 registered candidates are to sit for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Tema Metropolis. The 2025, unlike previous years, is expected to commence on a Wednesday, June 11, 2025, a shift from the usual Monday start. Mrs Bernice Ofori, the Tema Metro Education Director, told the GNA that all preparations had been put in place to ensure a successful, incident-free BECE. Mrs Ofori noted that the 3,820 registered candidates comprised 2,345 public school candidates and 1,475 are from private basic schools within the metropolis.
