The Ghana Police Service has recorded a significant breakthrough in its fight against armed robbery with the dismantling of a criminal syndicate believed to be behind a series of violent attacks on financial institutions, particularly rural banks, across several regions of the country. According to police officials, the gang had operated across the Ashanti, Eastern, Central, Western, and Ahafo Regions, terrorizing communities and targeting financial institutions.
