James Gunu donates exercise books to Wlitey RC Primary School

A total of 500 customised exercise books have been handed over to pupils of Wlitey RC Primary School in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta Region. The gesture, from Mr James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister and former District Chief Executive for Akatsi North, was presented by Mr Daniel Dagba, the MCE for Akatsi South on behalf of Mr Gunu. Mr Dagba explained that Mr Gunu’s donation would motivate the pupils to thrive in academic excellence. He entreated them to behave well both at home and during school hours. Patrick Agboyibor donates tools to supports community clean-up exercise

Car Loaded with alleged parcels of Indian Hemp involved in accident at Akatsi  

Mr Daniel Dagbah, the Municipal Chief Executive of Akatsi South together with the Police, has impounded a Toyota Venza private vehicle allegedly loaded with Marijuana, after it was involved in an accident at Monome bypass Junction at Akatsi in the Volta Region.   The black-coloured vehicle, with different registration numbers GS 234 -17 and GC 7258-13, somersaulted and later landed in a nearby bush after it was alleged to have been chased by some security officers.   Mr Dagba, who rushed to the scene, disclosed that the vehicle contained large quantities of Indian Hemp after a search was conducted.   “I got an alert around 1840 hours on Saturday that a car was involved in an accident in my area, so I rushed to the scene with my security detail to bring the situ...
