President John Dramani Mahama Receives Credentials from New Envoys

President John Dramani Mahama has officially received letters of credence from a new group of ambassadors and high commissioners, reaffirming Ghana’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties and international cooperation.

The ceremony, held at the seat of government, saw the accreditation of five distinguished envoys: Her Excellency Diarra Dime-Labille of France, His Excellency Rui Orlando Xavier of Angola, Her Excellency Mrs. Ndiyakupi Ngituwamata of Namibia, His Excellency Cong Song of China, and Her Excellency Jacquiline Natepi Ben Lochalamoi of South Sudan.

In his remarks, President Mahama warmly welcomed the envoys and emphasized Ghana’s readiness to deepen bilateral relations across political, economic, and cultural sectors. He highlighted the importance of collaboration in addressing shared global challenges while promoting mutual growth and development.

The newly accredited diplomats, in turn, expressed appreciation for the cordial reception and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the longstanding relationships between their respective nations and Ghana. They also pledged to work closely with Ghanaian authorities to enhance cooperation and deliver tangible benefits during their tenure.

The presentation of credentials marks a significant step in reinforcing Ghana’s diplomatic engagement and its role in fostering international partnerships.
