Kumasi Asante Kotoko management led by CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah and Administrative manager Emmanuel Dasoberi has expressed condolences to the families of the footballers who lost their lives in the accident that occurred on Saturday, September 19 at Offinso.
“Our heartfelt condolence goes to the families and loved ones of the victims of the Colts Club involved in the tragic road accident at Offinso,” the club said in a statement.
“We also pray for the victims and wish the injured speedy recovery. We are with you.”
The accident left six of the footballers dead instantly with two later dying at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
The players were involved in the accident on arrival to offinso after they had traveled to Afrancho for their registration for the upcoming colts league.
