Nsoatreman FC Withdraws from Ghana Premier League Over Safety Concerns

Nsoatreman FC has officially announced its withdrawal from the ongoing Ghana Premier League, citing security concerns for its players and staff. The club communicated its decision in a letter to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), stating that recent incidents involving matches against Kumasi Asante Kotoko and FC Samartex had raised serious safety issues.

According to the statement, Nsoatreman FC’s management and board of directors felt compelled to prioritize player security, as they could no longer guarantee a safe environment for their team. The club emphasized that their decision was not taken lightly but was necessary in light of the prevailing circumstances.

The withdrawal means Nsoatreman FC will no longer participate in the current league season or any other competitions organized by the GFA. While the club acknowledged the inconvenience this move may cause, it expressed regret that circumstances had forced them to take such a drastic step.

The GFA is yet to respond to the club’s decision, and it remains to be seen how this will impact the league standings and future fixtures.
