NSA releases first batch of postings for 2025/2026 service year

The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year, deploying a total of 85,159 graduates from accredited tertiary institutions across the country.

In a statement issued by the Authority’s Head Office at Airport, Accra, management explained that the personnel have been posted to both public and private institutions to undertake their one-year mandatory national service as part of their contribution to national development.

The statement clarified that the released figure excludes personnel who encountered data mismatches, as well as teachers, nurses, midwives, and other categories whose postings are still being processed. The total number of deployed personnel is therefore expected to increase once these outstanding cases are resolved.

“The Authority requests the public to appreciate the technicalities and procedural steps underpinning the National Service posting arrangements,” the statement added.

Deployment Breakdown

The Authority provided the following details to clarify the deployment statistics:

  • Total Students Uploaded: 150,937
  • Total Paid PIN Codes: 91,339
  • Total Verified (with Ghana Card): 85,459
  • Total Personnel Completed Registration: 85,159

Registration and Validation Procedures

The NSA has outlined a clear step-by-step process for all posted personnel to complete their registration:

  1. Check Placement: Visit the official website www.gnsa.gov.gh to verify placement.
  2. Print Appointment Letter: Print the appointment letter and have it endorsed by the line manager or designated official at the place of posting.
  3. Book Appointment: Schedule an appointment online, selecting a convenient date and time for registration.
  4. Complete Registration: Visit the designated Regional Validation and Registration Centre with an endorsed appointment letter and Ghana Card to finalize the process.

The regional validation and registration exercise begins on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, and will end on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Warning Against Fraudulent Agents

The NSA cautioned all personnel against engaging with fraudulent individuals or syndicates who claim they can alter postings or fast-track the process.

“The Authority does not engage the services of these so-called ‘middlemen’ in its deployment exercise,” management warned.

Service Year Commencement

The 2025/2026 national service officially begins on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Management congratulated all posted personnel and encouraged them to embrace their roles in supporting the country’s growth agenda.

“Management congratulates you on your appointment and wishes you well in your role in resetting Ghana’s socio-economic space,” the statement concluded.
