NIA Establishes Help Desk to Support Prospective National Service Personnel with Ghana Card Verification

The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced the establishment of a dedicated Help Desk at the National Service Secretariat (NSS) Head Office, located at Airport, Accra, to assist prospective National Service Personnel (NSP) encountering challenges with Ghana Card verification on the registration portal.

According to the NIA, the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process for all eligible service personnel. The Help Desk will provide targeted assistance to applicants facing difficulties linking or verifying their Ghana Card details on the NSS platform.

In addition, the Authority has set up a Personal Information Update Service Point at the same venue for applicants who may need to make corrections or updates to their personal data. This service will be rendered at a fee of GH₵60, which aligns with the standard charges applicable at all NIA District Offices nationwide.

To further facilitate the process, the NIA has directed all its regional and district offices across the country to prioritize prospective National Service Personnel, ensuring they receive timely attention and support throughout the registration period.

The Authority reiterated its commitment to providing seamless identification services and encouraged all affected applicants to take advantage of the available support.

For additional inquiries or assistance, applicants may contact the NIA through the following telephone lines: 0302 999 306, 0302 999 307, and 0302 999 309.
