Former Black Galaxies and Great Olympics Coach Annor Walker Passes Away

The Ghanaian football fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of veteran coach Annor Walker.

Reports confirm that the highly respected tactician passed away after a short illness. Until his demise, he was serving as the Technical Director of Vision FC, where he continued to share his vast knowledge and experience with the next generation of footballers.

Annor Walker had an illustrious coaching career, having handled some of Ghana’s top-flight sides, including Accra Great Olympics and FC Samartex, where he left lasting legacies with his tactical acumen and player development.

On the international front, Walker also made his mark as head coach of the Black Galaxies, Ghana’s home-based national team, leading them in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) and earning admiration for his discipline and eye for talent.

Tributes have begun pouring in from clubs, former players, and fans across the country, all highlighting his immense contribution to Ghanaian football and his role as a mentor to many in the sport.
