China, African Countries reaffirm commitment to Global South solidarity at Changsha Declaration signing

China, 53 African countries, and the African Union Commission have jointly reaffirmed their dedication to multilateralism, inclusive growth, and deeper economic collaboration.  This commitment was solidified through the signing of the Changsha Declaration on Upholding Solidarity and Cooperation of the Global South, which took place at a high-level meeting in Changsha, China. Dubai has maintained its first place as the world’s leading destination for greenfield foreign direct investment (FDI) in the cultural and creative industries (CCI), topping the Financial Times’ fDi Markets ranking for the third consecutive year.The 2024 report, which assessed 233 cities under the ‘Creative Industries Cluster’ classification, placed Dubai ahead of global hubs such as London and Singapore. The manuscript dates back to August 14, 1624, and includes a papal decree written by Pope Urban VIII and sealed in the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome.
