NIA to Begin Issuance of Ghana Cards to Children Aged 6–14 from October 6

The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced that it will from Monday, October 6, 2025, begin issuing and distributing Ghana Cards to Ghanaian children aged between six (6) and fourteen (14) who have already completed their registration. According to a statement issued by the Authority and signed by Mr. Williams Ampomah E. Darlas, Head of the Corporate Affairs Directorate, the exercise will take place at designated registration points — specifically, the schools where the children were originally registered.
