Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is set to officially submit and file his nomination forms tomorrow morning at the headquarters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Accra.
In a message to party supporters, Dr. Bawumia described members of the NPP as “cherished” and reaffirmed his commitment to the party’s future. His communication was accompanied by campaign hashtags #Bawumia2028 and #BawumiaIsComing, signaling his intention to contest for the party’s flagbearership ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The filing of the nomination forms marks a key step in the NPP’s presidential primary process, as aspirants formalize their bids to lead the party into the next national elections.
