Mr Patrick Fiable, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo-Hemang- Lower-Denkyira (THLD), has sponsored the Twifo Hemang Senior High Technical School (HEMSTECH) with funding for documentation, to secure the school’s lands from encroachers.
The amount of GH¢10,000.00 is to be used to acquire an indenture and protect the lands for future expansion projects.
Earlier, Nananom (Chiefs) of the Twifoman Traditional Area and the School’s authorities had also contributed immensely towards the documentation processes.

At the maiden anniversary celebrations of HEMSTECH on the theme: “Sustaining Quality, Holistic and Purposeful Technical Education, the role of stakeholders,” the DCE said the current encroachment was not healthy for the promotion of education in the area.
Mr Fiable said the government had reaffirmed its commitment to provide adequate resources, infrastructure and policies that would strengthen and enhance the quality Technical and Vocational Education across the country.
He said the District’s Assembly would continue to complement the government’s efforts to provide mono desks to the school and attend to its other needs.
