Accompanied by Director General of the National Sports Authority Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, Hon. Adams welcomed the team to Accra and wished them well in the upcoming games. Schaffer, who arrived in Accra Monday night, was met on arrival by Black Stars Assistant Coach Desmond Ofei. The German tactician was appointed in January to provide technical guidance and oversee the development of football in Ghana. His role also involves working closely with the Technical Directorate to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the GFA.
