WESTERN REGIONAL POLICE LAUNCH MANHUNT FOR FOUR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS IN TELEKU BOKAZO
The Western Regional Police Command has launched a manhunt for four suspected armed robbers following a violent robbery attack on a gold buying shop in Teleku Bokazo on Tuesday, July 30, 2025.
According to police sources, officers from the Esiama District responded swiftly to a distress call around 5:30 p.m. reporting an armed robbery in progress. The robbers, believed to be six in number, were wielding AK-47 rifles and machetes when they stormed the gold shop.
Upon arrival, the police learned the suspects had fled toward the Salman community. A pursuit ensued, leading to an exchange of gunfire between the robbers and police.
