University students urged to adopt positive attitudes
Professor Frederick Kwaku Sarfo, the Vice Chancellor of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University for Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), has asked university students to be discipline and adopt positive attitudes towards life.
He said the future of the country rested on their shoulders and they could not fail, therefore it was important for them to adopt attitudes that would make them useful to themselves, their families, the country as a whole.
Prof. Sarfo made the call at the matriculation of fresh students at the university in Kumasi.
A total of 13,066 students, made up of 11,920 undergraduate and 1,146 post-graduate students, were admitted pursuing various courses at the university.
