UPSA Pays Tribute to National Heroes Lost in Tragic Helicopter Crash
The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has joined the nation in mourning the loss of eight distinguished Ghanaians who perished in a tragic military helicopter crash near Obuasi in the Ashanti Region.
In a heartfelt statement signed by Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, Vice-Chancellor of UPSA, the university expressed its deepest condolences to the families, colleagues, and friends of the departed, describing their passing as a “heartache no one can heal.”
Among the victims were Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Defence, and Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation and Member of Parliament for Tamale Central.
