Teams target tickets to Tokyo as Coe hails “historic” World Relays in Guangzhou

World Athletics President Sebastian Coe reinforced the importance of a “historic” edition of the World Athletics Relays, speaking on the eve of an event that sees the mixed 4x100m make its global debut. The World Athletics Relays Guangzhou 25, taking place in the Chinese city on Saturday and Sunday (10-11 May), is the main qualifying competition for relay events at the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25. In addition, World Athletics is pleased to announce the publication of the Media Accreditation Guidelines for World Athletics Series (WAS) events, effective from 2025 onwards.
