Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang Graces Asogli Teza Yam Festival on Behalf of Former President Mahama
Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, represented His Excellency former President John Dramani Mahama at this year’s Asogli Teza Yam Festival, celebrated under the distinguished leadership of Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State.
The annual festival, held in Ho, also known as the Oxygen City, brought together traditional leaders, government officials, and citizens from across the country to celebrate the harvest of yam — a crop deeply symbolic of resilience, productivity, and Ghana’s rich agricultural heritage.
