The Nigerian online entertainment space has been thrown into mourning following reports that popular TikTok skitmaker, Mr. Sanku, has died in a ghastly accident along the Oyo-Ibadan expressway. According to accounts from colleagues in the industry, Sanku—also known as Zanku—was returning home to Ogbomoso after a shoot in Ilorin when the incident occurred. Eyewitnesses allege that the entertainer was driving at high speed when he lost control of his Lexus ES 350, veered off the road, and spiraled into a canal. Some bystanders, however, claim the car resembled a Lexus RX 350. Reports indicate that the crash may have also injured nearby commuters and traders.
