Police Commander urges youth to leverage Whistleblower Act, contributes to corrupt fight 

Superintendent George Kwakye, the Wenchi District Police Commander in the Bono Region has urged the youth to leverage the WhistleBlower Act to contribute to the nationwide fight against corruption.  He said the youth ought to report the alleged misconduct and corrupt practices of public officials to give meaning to provisions in the Act 720, enacted to protect informants, and thereby encourage them to contribute their quota towards fighting corruption.  Supt. Volta Regional Minister commends outgoing Regional Police Commander

Mr James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, has commended the outgoing Volta Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr Andrews Boadu-Ekumah for exhibiting high level of professionalism during his tenure. He said the Commander served the region beyond measure with dedication and integrity, and  never sacrificed professionalism for materials things nor showed any political colour in the discharge of his duties. Mr Gunu gave the commendation during a send off party organised by the Volta Regional Police Command in honour of the Commander.
