Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee Mourns Helicopter Crash Victims

Ghana’s Parliamentary Select Committee on Defence and Interior has expressed its deepest condolences to the families of eight prominent Ghanaians who perished in a tragic military helicopter crash in the Adansi-Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region on August 6, 2025. Parliamentary Candidates (PC) at Amenfi West Constituency in the Western Region have reiterated their commitment to uphold the principles of peace before, during and after the upcoming general election on December 7. They made the commitments when the Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), organised a dialogue for them to deliberate on how to ensure political stability in the constituency.
