Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee Mourns Helicopter Crash Victims
Ghana’s Parliamentary Select Committee on Defence and Interior has expressed its deepest condolences to the families of eight prominent Ghanaians who perished in a tragic military helicopter crash in the Adansi-Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region on August 6, 2025.
The victims include the Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, Minister for Environment, Science, and Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator Alhaji Muniru Mohammed Limuna, Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Deputy Director-General of NADMO Mr. Samuel Aboagye, Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum-Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.
