Pan African Parliament Mourns Victims of Ghana Helicopter Crash
The Pan African Parliament (PAP) has joined Ghana and its people in mourning the tragic loss of two cabinet ministers, six other citizens, and military officers in the helicopter crash that occurred on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
In a condolence message signed by its President, His Excellency Chief Fortune Z. Charumbira, PAP expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and six others.
“The Pan African Parliament stands in solidarity and commiserates with the Republic of Ghana in the wake of this untimely national tragedy,” the statement said.
