Oti Region Trains OTC Medicine Sellers on Family Planning and Data Management

The Oti Regional Coordinating Council (ORCC) in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Ghana Health Service (GHS), has organized a two-day capacity-building workshop for 30 over the counter (OTC) medicine sellers on family planning and data management. The two-day workshop for OTC medicine sellers was held at the Bosatsu hotel in Dambai, facilitated by Ms. Veronica Kaka, Oti Regional Public Health Officer and Madam Juliet Akorlie, Krachi East Municipal Public Health Officer. The training, which covered various aspects of family planning, including counseling techniques, contraceptive methods, and referral protocols, aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of OTC sellers in providing quality family planning services and managing data effectively.
