Gov’t Slashes Nursing Trainee Admission Fees by 50%
The Ministry of Health has announced a major relief package for Nursing and Allied Health Training students across the country, cutting admission fees by half effective the 2025/2026 academic year.
The intervention, made possible under government’s flagship “No-Fee-Stress” Policy for tertiary students, is expected to ease the financial burden on thousands of parents and students seeking professional training in the health sector.
According to the Ministry, government will absorb about 50 percent of the approved fees for all first-year students enrolled in Nursing and Allied Health Training Institutions.
