Ghana, Norway sign political consultations agreement to boost bilateral relations
Ghana and Norway have signed a Political Consultations Agreement aimed at elevating bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in key strategic sectors.
The agreement was signed on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting by Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, , and Norway’s Minister of International Development, Mr Åsmund Grøver Aukrust.
Under the framework, the two countries would deepen collaboration in oil and gas, trade facilitation, educational opportunities, agribusiness, artificial intelligence, maritime security, the blue economy, and intelligence sharing.
