Slovenia Lauds Moroccan Autonomy Initiative as Good Basis for Solution to Dispute over Moroccan Sahara

Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon, has highlighted that her country appreciated the Moroccan autonomy initiative, presented by Morocco in 2007, as a good basis for a definitive solution to the regional dispute created over the Moroccan Sahara. African quartet to receive $9.55 million each for 2025 FIFA Club World Cup participation

FIFA has confirmed a participation fee of $ 9.55 million for each of the four African teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup (CWC). The inaugural edition of the revamped FIFA CWC will take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025. The four African clubs participating in the tournament are Al Ahly of Egypt, Esperance of Tunisia, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, and Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco. These teams will each receive the same amount as the clubs from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF).
